Seller: Adrologic Pvt Ltd, 30/160, Sector 3, Pratap Nagar, Sanganer, Jaipur 302033, Rajasthan, India (CIN U62011RJ2023PTC088227). This policy is part of the CRAIVIS Terms of Service.
1. The rule (the checkout copy)
Full refund within 7 days if you published nothing. Otherwise, pro-rata at our discretion. Failed generations are always refunded automatically.
1.1 This sentence is shown on the checkout sheet before you pay, in the language of the checkout (English at launch; Hindi with the Hindi UI), and it is the rule we apply. The number of days and the rule for everything else live in our plan catalogue and can change under Section 12; a change never applies to a charge already made.
1.2 The rule replaces a free trial as the reason to try CRAIVIS without fear. Before you pay you can already see three draft posts for your business on our website without an account and, after e-mail or phone verification, up to 10 saved generations; nothing publishes and no channel connects before payment (Terms, Section 11.8). If you pay and then decide the product is not for you before anything has gone out under your name, you get your money back.
2. Definitions used in this policy
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Charge | One payment collected by Razorpay for your Organisation: the first plan payment, a monthly or yearly renewal, a pack, an add-on, an extra Brand, or a wallet top-up. Each charge has its own 7-day window. |
| Cycle | The period a plan charge pays for: one month for a monthly plan, one year for a yearly plan, counted from the charge. |
| Published | A post of any Brand in your Organisation was marked "published" by the Service, which happens only when the platform returned an external post ID for it (Terms, Section 6.5). A post that published and was later deleted still counts as published. An asset you posted yourself from a "post this now" link (reminder publishing) counts as published once you confirm in the product that you posted it. A post that failed to publish does not count. |
| Published nothing | No post of your Organisation was published during the cycle the charge paid for. |
| Unit | A post, a reel, a link or a message: the named units in the Terms, Section 11. Units are what plans and packs include. |
| Ledger | Our append-only record of every charge, every unit consumed, every reservation, every automatic unit refund and every money refund. You can see your Ledger rows in Billing. |
| Unit refund | A unit returned to your allowance or pack in the Ledger. Automatic. Not money. |
| Money refund | Money returned to your payment method through Razorpay, recorded as a Ledger row and a Razorpay refund. |
| Admin discretion | A decision by our finance role (at launch, the founder) under Section 9, recorded in the Ledger and the audit log. |
3. Plans: monthly and yearly
3.1 Monthly plans
| Situation | Refund |
|---|---|
| Within 7 days of the charge and you published nothing in that cycle | Full refund of that charge, on request, no questions. |
| Within 7 days of the charge and you published | Pro-rata at our discretion (Section 9). |
| After 7 days | Pro-rata at our discretion (Section 9). |
| You cancel | No refund needed: the plan stays active to the end of the paid cycle, then stops (Section 5). |
3.2 Yearly plans
A yearly plan costs 10 times the monthly price (two months free) and is charged up front (Terms, Section 12.4).
| Situation | Refund |
|---|---|
| Within 7 days of the yearly charge and you published nothing | Full refund of the yearly charge, on request. |
| After 7 days, or you published | Pro-rata at our discretion. The pro-rata base for a yearly plan is the monthly price, not one-twelfth of the yearly price: we treat each month you used (started months count as used) as charged at the monthly price, and refund the yearly amount paid less those months, never below zero. Example: yearly Starter at $290, cancelled in month 4 with a refund approved: $290 − 4 × $29 = $174. The two free months are the reward for staying the year. |
| Yearly INR plans above Rs 15,000 collected as a one-time payment with additional-factor authentication or through e-NACH (Terms, Section 12.2) | Same rule; the refund is returned to the instrument that paid (Section 10). |
3.3 Renewals
Every renewal is a new charge with its own 7-day window and its own cycle. If a renewal is charged and you published nothing in the new cycle, you can ask for a full refund of that renewal within 7 days of it, even if you published in earlier cycles. This is why we send the 24-hour pre-debit notice the RBI framework requires on every INR mandate and a renewal reminder e-mail on every plan: cancel before the renewal and there is nothing to refund.
3.4 Price changes
A price change is announced 30 days before it applies to your renewal (Terms, Section 12.6). If you do not want the new price, cancel before the renewal; a renewal at a new price you did not cancel is a normal renewal under 3.3.
3.5 Plan changes
Upgrading mid-cycle charges the difference pro-rata for the rest of the cycle and is not refundable separately. Downgrading takes effect at the next renewal and creates no refund; the included units of the higher plan stay available to the end of the cycle.
4. Packs, add-ons, extra Brands, wallets
| Item | Refund rule |
|---|---|
| Post pack ($7 / Rs 499 per 10 posts) and reel pack ($59 / Rs 4,999 per 10 Standard reels) | Full refund within 7 days of the charge if no unit from that pack has been consumed. Once a unit is consumed, no money refund except at admin discretion; the remaining units stay in the pack while the subscription is active and are forfeited 30 days after it ends (Terms, Section 11.5). |
| Single Standard reel ($7 / Rs 549) and Cinematic reel ($29 / Rs 1,999) | Charged when you press "Render this reel". A failed or blocked render is refunded automatically: the reel goes back to your pack if it came from one, and a single-reel or Cinematic payment is refunded in money through Razorpay without a request (Section 6). A rendered reel you decide not to use is not refunded; you have one free regeneration per reel, and a second render is a new reel (Terms, Section 11.2). |
| Extra Brand ($15 / Rs 999 per month, less an agency's discount tier) | Charged from the day you add it, prorated for the first cycle. Removing a Brand stops its charge at the next renewal; the current cycle is not refunded (Terms, Section 14.5). Within 7 days of adding a Brand on which nothing was published, a full refund of that Brand's first charge on request. |
| X post with link ($0.25 / Rs 20, pass-through of X's URL fee) | Charged only when the post publishes to X with the link. A failed X publish is not charged. Not refundable after publication because X has charged us. |
| WhatsApp broadcast add-on (prepaid wallet; Meta's rate + 20% per message; on sale when Meta grants the messaging scopes) | The wallet is prepaid. A message is charged to the wallet only when Meta bills it (per delivered message at Meta's rate for the recipient's country at the time of sending); a message that fails to send is not charged. Delivered messages are not refundable. Unused wallet balance is refunded in full, less any Meta charges already incurred but not yet posted, when you disconnect the add-on or delete the Organisation, or on request at any time. We do not charge a fee for a wallet refund. |
| Website audit & SEO report ($19 / Rs 999 per website per month) | Full refund within 7 days of the charge if no report was generated for that website in that cycle; otherwise pro-rata at admin discretion. "Request a fix" leads to a separate Adrologic service under its own terms and is outside this policy. |
| Coupons, tester and partner codes | A coupon has no cash value and is not refunded. A charge reduced by a coupon is refunded at the amount actually paid, never at the list price. |
| Features marked "coming" | You are not charged for a feature until it is live (Terms, Section 4.5), so there is nothing to refund. Where a plan includes units of a "coming" feature (included reels before reels ship in Week 6), the first month's included units are credited in full on the day the feature ships; that is a credit, not a refund. |
5. Cancelling is not the same as a refund
5.1 Cancel any time. The Organisation Owner cancels in Billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Your plan stays active, with its units, to the end of the cycle you paid for. Nothing is refunded automatically on cancellation, because you keep what you paid for.
5.2 After the paid period ends, drafts and history stay readable for 30 days so you can export them (Terms, Section 13.1); then the deletion timelines on the Data Deletion page apply.
5.3 Deleting the Organisation cancels the subscription and, under Section 4, refunds any unused WhatsApp wallet balance; it does not by itself refund the current plan cycle, which follows Section 3.
5.4 Want a refund as well as to cancel? Ask under Section 10. If you are inside the 7-day window and published nothing, you get it in full.
6. Automatic unit refunds: failed and blocked generations
6.1 You never pay for a failed generation. Before every image, carousel, motion post or reel render we reserve the unit in the Ledger. If the provider fails, times out, returns nothing usable, or our safety gates block the output, the reservation is released and the unit is returned to your allowance or pack automatically, within minutes, without a request. The Ledger shows the reservation and the refund side by side. This is a design rule of the Service and applies whatever this policy says about money.
6.2 What counts as a failure. A provider error; a render that does not complete; an output that fails platform specification validation and cannot be fixed by transcoding; an output blocked by prompt moderation, the output review, the likeness gate, the novelty check or the sensitivity-day check (the post then waits in Draft with a reason, and no unit was spent).
6.3 What does not count as a failure. A completed render you do not like. For that you have one free regeneration per asset per month; each further regeneration consumes a unit (Terms, Section 11.2). Design edits through templates (text, photo swap, logo, colour) are free and are not regenerations. If you believe a completed render was defective rather than merely not to your taste, write to contact@adrologic.com with the post ID; our support role can regenerate for free and, where the defect was ours, refund the unit at discretion.
6.4 Failed publishes. A failed publish does not consume a unit twice: the rendered post stays yours and is re-published when the cause is fixed (Terms, Section 6.5). A publish that fails because of our error and cannot be re-published is a factor in Section 9.
6.5 Cap trips are not failures. A render refused because a Brand reached its daily reel cap, its monthly cost cap or its post allowance was never reserved and never charged; the review card tells you when the next render is available or offers a pack.
7. Refunds required by other parts of the Terms
This policy does not narrow any refund the Terms or the DPA promise elsewhere. For the record:
| Where | What is refunded |
|---|---|
| Terms, Section 19.4(b): we terminate for convenience on 30 days' notice | Prepaid fees for the period after termination, in full. |
| Terms, Section 20.3: we retire a feature that was the substantial reason for your plan | Pro-rata refund of the affected period, on request. |
| Terms, Section 25.2: an intellectual-property claim against the Service's own software leads us to terminate | Prepaid fees for the unexpired period. |
| DPA, Section 5.3: you object to a new sub-processor and we cannot accommodate you | Pro-rata refund of prepaid fees for the unexpired period of the affected feature or plan. |
| Terms, Section 19.4(a) and Section 19.1: termination or suspension for cause (breach of the Acceptable Use Policy, platform rules, fraud, chargeback, non-payment) | No refund of the current cycle; sums due remain payable. Unused WhatsApp wallet balance is still returned under Section 4 unless it is held against amounts you owe. |
| Brand transfer (Terms, Section 15.7) | The previous owner's charge for that Brand for the rest of the cycle is credited to its Ledger and applied to its next invoice; a money refund only if that Organisation has no next invoice because it is cancelling. The new owner is charged from the effective date, prorated. |
8. What is never refunded
- Charges older than 7 days where you published, except at admin discretion under Section 9.
- Consumed units (posts, reels, links, delivered messages).
- Coupons and codes (no cash value).
- The demo and the free generations before payment (nothing was charged).
- Payment-provider or bank fees on a refund: we bear Razorpay's refund handling; we do not deduct it from you. Currency-conversion differences on a USD refund settled in INR are borne by us up to the amount we received and by you beyond it.
- Anything a platform did (a rejected, removed, labelled or rate-limited post; a suspended account): Terms, Section 10.3. Where a platform action was caused by our error, Section 9 applies.
- Service interruption: we do not offer service credits at launch (Terms, Section 20.1); an outage that stopped your publishing is a factor in Section 9.
9. Admin discretion: how a pro-rata decision is made
9.1 Who decides. Our finance role (at launch, the founder). The decision is a Ledger row plus a Razorpay refund call, and an audit-log entry with who, what, before and after.
9.2 Starting point. The unused part of the cycle: the charge multiplied by the whole days left in the cycle divided by the days in the cycle (for yearly plans, the monthly-price method in 3.2).
9.3 Factors that move the amount up (towards the full unused part or beyond): a failure on our side (an outage, a silent publish failure, a wrong occasion date, a defective render) that stopped you getting what you paid for; a request within the first month; a customer who has never asked before.
9.4 Factors that move the amount down (towards zero): units consumed well beyond the pro-rata share of the cycle (for example 18 of 20 posts and both reels used in the first week); a request after a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy; repeated refund requests; a request from an Organisation created to obtain the free window again (Section 9.6).
9.5 Timing. We decide within 5 business days of receiving a complete request (Section 10) and tell you the amount and the reason in writing. If you disagree, write to contact@adrologic.com; the Grievance Officer named in the Privacy Policy reviews it within 7 days.
9.6 One first-charge window per business. The 7-day full refund on a first plan charge is available once per person or business; renewals keep their own windows under 3.3. Creating a second account or Organisation for the same person or business to obtain another first-charge refund is a breach of the Terms (Section 3.4) and the Acceptable Use Policy (Section 5.5); we may decline the refund and close the duplicate.
9.7 Agencies. The rule applies to the agency's Organisation as a whole: an agency that published for any client Brand in a cycle has published. What an agency charges or refunds its own clients is the agency's business, outside CRAIVIS (Terms, Section 15.2); we do not refund an agency because its client left, but a brand_transfer credits the agency for the rest of that Brand's cycle (Section 7).
10. How to ask, and how long it takes
- Ask in the product: Billing → Charges → the charge → "Request refund", or e-mail contact@adrologic.com from the Owner's address with the invoice number. Only the Organisation Owner can request a money refund (Terms, Section 3.3).
- Tell us which charge and, if you are past the 7-day window or you published, why. Inside the window with nothing published you need say nothing more.
- We confirm receipt within 1 business day and, where the 7-day rule applies, approve it the same day. Discretionary requests are decided within 5 business days (Section 9.5).
- We refund through Razorpay to the payment method you used: the UPI account or bank account of an INR mandate, the card for an international-card charge, the e-NACH account for a yearly INR plan. We cannot refund to a different account or in cash. Razorpay initiates the refund within 1 business day of our approval; your bank or card network then takes typically 5-7 business days for UPI and Indian cards and up to 10 business days for international cards to show it. We send you the Razorpay refund reference.
- GST and invoices. An INR refund includes the GST proportion of the amount refunded and we issue a credit note against the original invoice.
- A refund closes the units it paid for. A full refund of a plan charge ends the plan cycle immediately and the Organisation drops to Draft-only; a full refund of a pack removes its units; drafts stay readable for 30 days (Section 5.2).
11. Chargebacks and disputes
Write to us before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer: inside the 7-day window with nothing published, the refund is approved the same day, which is faster than any dispute. A chargeback raised while a refund request is open, or after a refund was paid, suspends the Organisation until it is settled (Terms, Section 12.8). A dispute we lose is treated as a full refund of that charge under Section 10.6.
12. Consumer rights and changes
12.1 Your statutory rights. Nothing in this policy limits a right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, or the law of your country that cannot be excluded.
12.2 Changes. The 7-day window, the rule for everything else and the checkout copy are fields in our plan catalogue. We may change them; a change is announced 30 days ahead by e-mail and in-product, applies only to charges made after it takes effect, and is archived with a version and date at craivis.com/legal/refunds/history. Changes required by law or by a payment provider may take effect sooner.
12.3 If a trial is ever switched on. The trial is off at launch. If we later offer a card-required trial, the charge at the end of the trial is a charge under this policy with its own 7-day window, and the trial's terms are shown at checkout.
